tryagain Aug 27, 2010 I was very excited to receive my sprinkler but, I was disappointed the first time I used it. If you live somewhere the water pressure does not change, it would be ok. Our water pressure changes all of the time so the plants don't get watered like I set up the sprinkler.
Too Small Aug 25, 2010 This product was too small - it looks much larger in the photo. Not good for a yard at all, perhaps for a small garden area.
Noodlehead sprinkler Aug 12, 2010 Great for the small garden. Does a great job directing the water to
only the areas you need to.
Somewhat Junky Aug 10, 2010 I purchased this recently to water my 3 x 6 foot raised bed. I'm not entirely sure if the Noodlehead came with a cracked "noodle" or not, but one of the noodles immediately broke off as I set it up for first use and with zero "man handling" on my part. I wasn't impressed. Once a noodle breaks off it basically sprays water from that "noodle head" all over the place and at higher volume. It is also very, very lightweight- the pic makes it look like it is manufactured better than it is. Being lightweight makes it difficult to position or get the sprinkler to lay flat. There is a stake that comes with it but that makes it more difficult to reposition. I'm guessing that for the money you could probably find something better to water a small space or specific area. The final annoyance is that the packaging is the "NON frustration free" version and it is pretty well darn encased in plastic. Perhaps that's what prevents the noodles from breaking off? I would not repeat this purchase although I'm using it for now to water my little garden.

a lot of noodling around... Jul 25, 2010 The idea in this sprinkler is that it has 12 "noodles" that you can point in whatever position you want to get the best coverage of an unusual shape or area, but you totally have to noodle around with this to get it adjusted the way you want.
If you have an irregular area that is difficult for other sprinklers to cover properly this might work. But if you want to change the location of the Noodlehead from one place to another, be prepared to doink around with the noodles again.
Turn off the water, re-aim the noodles, turn on the water, hope it worked, oooops, turn off the water again, re-aim... repeatedly...
Otherwise you will likely get wet trying to adjust it. If you can find an application area where you can set it just once and leave it alone, this might work for you.
Frankly I've only used it once or twice because it's such a pain to work with...
If you want a really really GREAT sprinkler, try this one: Dramm 15024 ColorStorm 9-Pattern Premium Turret Sprinkler With Heavy Duty Metal Base - Green (and it comes in different colors as well...)
