 Step aside Ipod Sep 04, 2010
I have been keeping an eye on this player ever since it first came out. I didn't buy it until a few weeks ago because I never saw a need to buy it since my old mp3 player was still working perfectly. After I noticed a few signs of my old mp3 player getting ready to go, I decided that it was time I finally bought the Zune. What I really like about the Zune is that it allows you to go on the internet using a wi-fi connection. There have been a lot of times when I have shut down my pc and realized that there was something that I forgot to check out on the internet. With its wi-fi capability, this player has always pulled through. I love the sound of the music and picture of the video on this player. The touchscreen on this player works really well, it's not too sensitive and I don't need to press to hard to get a response. I also like the fact that HD radio is available on the player.
The reason why I gave this player 4 out of 5 stars is because you need to use Zune software to add and delete music/video from the player. My old mp3 player allowed me to drag and drop media onto it or even delete media directly off the player. Fortunately, the software is very easy to use because it does not add or delete any music/media off of the player unless you tell it to. (I've always found Windows Media player to be a nightmare at this.)
Overall, this player is totally awesome.

Wow. it is lighter than i thought. Its so easy to use except for the volume control, but ill get used to it. I always loved zune. This made me love it more. Its so cool.
Gorgeous screen - great sound Sep 02, 2010
I've had many mps players from the old Zen, Dell Jukebox, many no names, and the first zunes. Can't compare to ipods since never had an Apple and don't intend to get one ESPECIALLY after this iteration of Zune. BEAUTIFUL color screen, haven't seen any other that matches it's clarity and color. Quality sound with nice depth and volume range. Added bonus of FM radio (including HD - picked up 3 available HD channels in my area), great video playback (be aware Zune software won't support mp4 format), games and simple apps, and internet access (entering letters with popup keyboard can be trying at times). Controls are easy enough and the software provides nice visual feedback while your music is playing. It is a shame that Microsoft don't devote enough effort in building a more extensive apps library but it's secondary. Got mine used at an unbeatable price (way under $100) so if you're looking for a great media player, hard to go wrong with this baby.

I normally don't rate anything on here but I feel this deserves it. If your getting the Zune HD your all about the music not the apps. I use my android phone for apps. Also, the Zune pass is worth it. You still might have to buy some music but that's with very few bands/artist's. Great Mp3 player.
Zune HD 32GB - Great Product! Aug 30, 2010
Short and sweet, this is a fantastic mp3 player! It is easy to use with very intuitive controls. The touch screen is responsive without being overly sensitive. The video is excellent and the screen large enough to show detail and still be portable (great for photos and zooming in on detail). downloadable apps is a nice touch, though very limited at this time. If you use this device a lot on the brightest screen setting the battery life is somewhat short. Not a big deal as I plug mine in every night to sync. Overall very satisfied with this purchase - Amazon is awsome as always!
